Our Client a leading distributor of MRO Products and Services (maintenance, repairs, overhaul) are looking to attract a General Operative for their Customer Pharmaceutical Site in Cork. Reporting to the Insite Manager, this is a hands-on role combining van driving, stores operations, and stock control, supporting efficient warehouse and customer delivery operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock handling, timely deliveries, and smooth day-to-day stores management.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out local van deliveries to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner
* Load and unload delivery vehicles accurately and efficiently
* Stock counting and cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy
* Goods inwards: receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries
* Stock put-away to designated warehouse locations
* General stores management, maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
* Adhering to all health & safety procedures and company policies
* Supporting the wider warehouse team as required
Key Requirements
* Full, clean Category B driving licence essential
* Manual handling certification, counter balance, fork lift license essential
* Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or general operative role
* Experience with stock control or inventory management is desirable
* Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling
* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
* Basic IT skills (e.g. handheld scanners or warehouse systems) advantageous

Pay: €32,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
