Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time Front of House Waiter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
This position is for daytime hours, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking flexible work schedules.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them in seating arrangements.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea and other specialty drinks
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area.
Answer customer inquiries and provide menu recommendations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
To ensure all food and drink is prepared to the highest standard and presented to the approved standard.
Process payments using POS systems and handle cash and card transactions.
Uphold hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
Take and serve customers orders
Prepare set ups for tables
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Flexibility to work daytime hours, including weekends and holidays.
Attention to detail and cleanliness.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Must be eligible to work in Kilkenny.
Pay: The pay for this position depends on experience.
