Our IT department wishes to recruit a Digital Project Manager to join its IT Engineers (MES, Lab CSV, Data Analytics & Infrastructure) on a customer site in Cork. The successful candidate will have solid project management fundamentals and experience in managing the delivery of digital solutions within a GMP environment. The position will work within an established team that provides digital solutions to production and business areas.
About the Role
The Digital Project Manager will lead the implementation of digital initiatives and projects across MES, Material Tracking and Power BI software applications, ensuring successful delivery of digital projects within GMP areas.
Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of digital initiatives and projects across MES, Material Tracking and Power BI software applications, ensuring successful delivery of digital projects within GMP areas.
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing business processes to support effective planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
Actively manage schedule, budget and resources across each project.
Cross‑functional collaboration with Automation, MES, Quality and IT teams, to ensure digital projects are correctly prioritized.
Engage with and manage key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with their requirements and project objectives.
Align project timelines with manufacturing schedules and planned maintenance windows.
Support with Change Management requirements during deployment of projects.
Provide reports and updates to business areas, Flow teams and senior management on project plans, timelines, escalations, etc., as and when required.
Lead daily support and project stand‑up meetings.
Work in conjunction with CSV and QA teams to ensure all project documentation is completed in adherence to the latest pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations including GMP, GDP and 21 CFR Part 11.
Onboard and integrate new starters into the current team.
Qualifications
Degree qualification in IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in Project Management within an Automation, MES or ERP environment in the pharmaceutical industry.
Pharma experience and knowledge of GMP, CSV and data integrity requirements.
