PositionChargehand (Structured Cabling)LocationDublin, IrelandRole OverviewAs a Chargehand, you will support the Foreman in overseeing the installation and testing of Cat6, Cat6A, and Fibre Optic cabling across a variety of operational settings. You will assist in guiding your team to ensure that all work is completed safely, to a high standard, and in line with project schedules and budget expectations. Join us and become part of a forward-thinking team committed to innovation and excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Foreman with overseeing the day-to-day work of Technicians on the site to ensure a high standard of installation.Interpret technical drawings and method statements to plan and execute the team's work effectivelyEnsure the team is in full compliance with Health and Safety standards and all site protocolsProvide On-the-Job training for Technicians as requiredProvide hands on support for the installation and testing of structured cabling when neededMonitor all activity under your care and escalate any out-of-scope activity to ManagementEssential RequirementsExperience in a Chargehand/Team Lead role on structured cabling projects, including large scale Cat6, Cat6A, and/or fibre installationsMust have a current Safe Pass or be willing to get one before commencing employmentFull driving license, access to your own transport and be willing to travel to multiple sitesCertification in Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or Hoist Operator training are an advantage but not essentialStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead your team and provide training when requiredCET Connect is an equal opportunities employer.
