Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Clerical Officer to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining an efficient service level and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical administration department.
About the Role
* Coordinating administrative activities for a busy medical team, handling incoming calls and transferring them to other sections as necessary.
* Undertaking general administration tasks such as system administration, query handling and clerical duties.
* Managing appointments systems and processing referrals.
* Data input - processing data through internal systems, formulating and maintaining databases.
* Maintenance of records and filing systems both manual and electronic to effectively manage information.
* Assisting in the preparation of data for management reports as required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative coordination and support for the medical team.
2. Handling phone calls and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
3. General administration tasks including system administration and record-keeping.
4. Appointments and referral management.
5. Data processing and maintenance of databases.
6. Preparation of management reports.
Requirements
* A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar administrative role.
* Excellent IT skills including MS Office Suite (SAP or SharePoint experience an advantage).
* Strong customer support experience with excellent communication skills.
* Experience of handling sensitive and confidential data.
* Excellent attention to detail with good analytical skills.
