The Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Vice President to join the Fiduciary (Director) Services team as part of our financial services business in Dublin.
As part of the global expansion of the Maples Group’s financial services offering, our Dublin office opened its doors in 2006. Located in the heart of the city, a commitment to service excellence and investment in our people quickly established Dublin as a regional hub where our 200+ teammates deliver the best‑in‑class solutions to clients worldwide alongside our colleagues in legal services.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a Director and Client Relationship Manager for a portfolio of SPVs.
Analyze proposed structures from a new business acceptance perspective, obtain approvals, issue fee quotes, and manage onboarding of new clients.
Review transaction documents and files.
Ensure that each client relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures.
Liaise with originators, investment managers, arrangers, aircraft lessors, operators, lawyers and other relevant parties.
Understand and speak knowledgeably about Maples Group services and its values.
Ad‑hoc project work, including assessing the impact of new legislation relevant to SPVs and ensuring SPVs act in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Occasional client relationship management and business development activities, including attending relevant industry events and industry association meetings.
Assist with the management and training of more junior members of the Director Services team.
Assist with the recruitment and selection process.
Deal with daily client and internal queries and administrative matters whilst ensuring high levels of service delivery, and act as a primary point of contact for ongoing issue resolution.

Requirements

University graduate with an excellent academic background.
Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience in a corporate, accounting, legal or trust environment.
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
Ability to use initiative.
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Understanding of structured and asset finance transactions utilizing SPVs, experience in reviewing transaction documents, acting as a director to SPVs, and knowledge of corporate governance, relevant local laws and regulatory requirements.
Ability to think broadly and consider a wide range of internal and external factors when solving problems.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
