The role
Our client, a renewable energy company, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team on a permanent contract.
The Role
This is a field-based role, primarily focused on domestic projects, involving the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of heat pump systems and heating appliances.
Responsibilities
Installation and commissioning of air-to-water and exhaust air heat pumps
Servicing and maintenance of heat pumps and domestic heating systems
Installation and upgrade of central heating systems and controls
Installation and maintenance of oil boilers and heating appliances
Fault finding, diagnostics, and first-time fix repairs
Carrying out safety inspections and compliance checks
Performing combustion analysis and electrical safety testing
Installation and verification of CO alarms in line with regulations
Working on retrofit projects within residential properties
Completing all relevant documentation and compliance records
Ensuring high standards of customer service and safety at all times
Requirements
Experience in Plumbing or Electrical
Demonstrated experience in residential and commercial maintenance environments
Full clean driving licence required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to travel from project to project
