Job Description
As an Electrical Instrumentation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process by reporting to the Project / Construction Managers on all aspects of the site daily operations. You will work closely with the Planning Manager as well as a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver cutting‑edge projects. The role will primarily involve supervising the instrumentation team regarding on‑site instrument spec checks, calibrations, instrument installation, system walk‑downs, cold & hot loop checking, commissioning, and fault‑finding in control systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Ensure all site operations are carried out in strict compliance with company HSQE requirements and standards.
Daily management, supervision, and reporting of labour resources, plant, safe execution of works and material allocations.
Deliver best‑in‑class electrical instrumentation installation to the client’s specifications.
Post construction walk‑downs and compilation of accurate information to prepare As‑Built records and red‑line system P&ID’s, Loop Drawings, Single Line Diagrams etc. for hand‑over packs.
Ensure works are carried out to a high standard while complying with building regulations, National Rules for Electrical Installations, Health and Safety and environmental standards.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to pharmaceutical, life sciences, construction, and other sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Skills And Requirements
4 years + experience in a site lead role working in a Pharma / Life Science with a strong emphasis on Safety and Quality.
Minimum Level 6 level of the QQI Certificate in Electrical Instrumentation Craft Practice or equivalent.
Demonstrable high level of technical instrumentation knowledge with practical application.
A high degree of computer literacy.
