About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Donegal. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and conducting engineering studies, providing technical support to the print line, conducting lab-based experiments, recording and analysing results, identifying improvements of manufacturing processes and supporting investigative actions.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, implement and lead technical projects including validation activities and product/process improvements projects.
2. Responsible for writing up/reviewing results accurately on time presenting relevant information to stakeholders.
3. Lead/participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams for troubleshooting scientific investigations provide technical/process monitoring support print lines/manufacturing areas perform routine laboratory functions scientific experiments/investigations set-up testing adjusting calibrating maintaining laboratory equipment etc update MSDS equipment work instructions stock laboratory adequately resourced translate top-level goals specific goals align activities respective strategic business priorities comply company-wide 6 S standards conduct thorough risk assessments answer enquiries Lab Supervisor's behalf required ensure prompt attention Science Technology Manager Sensor Science Lead areas risk adverse effect product/safety operate under environment that promotes professionalism respect equality all employees encourage teamwork enhance skills knowledge contributing excellence organisational performance vision mission overall growth employee careers equal opportunities employment selection.
