About the Role
The Connemara Coast Hotel invites applications for the vacant post of Leisure Centre Manager.
Responsibilities
To ensure the Leisure Centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our guests and members with an excellent service.
To ensure the safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
To ensure the swimming pool and leisure area is cleaned and maintained to the required standards and Health and Safety regulatory standards.
To assist persons attending the club, ensuring all are comfortable with the exercise equipment.
To ensure the reception and leisure area is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and dusted daily to hygiene standards.
To comply with all fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.
To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.
To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the hotel's procedures.
Qualifications
Commitment to Customer Service – Essential
Experience at Senior/Manager level in a gym, leisure centre or health club setting
Lifeguard Qualification – Essential
Swim Teacher Qualification – Desirable
ITEC/NCEF Gym Instructor qualification – would also be advantageous.
Pool Plant qualifications would also be advantageous.

Operating Details
The role will operate 5 days over 7 on a shift basis and include midweek and weekends.
