**Job Description:**

The Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all technical and maintenance activities in support of production, ensuring a safe, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly work environment. The goal is to achieve plant performance metrics by leading the technical team and coordinating timely completion of PMs, calibrations, and equipment downtime resolution.


Main Responsibilities:

* Lead the Technical Team in completing PMs, calibrations, and resolving equipment downtime in a timely manner.
* Develop and track department KPIs to measure equipment and maintenance performance, including MTBF, MTTR, OEEs, schedule attainment, labor utilization, work order backlog, PM/calibration completion rates, spare usage, and costs control.
* Maintain up-to-date maintenance information, including specifications, drawings, manuals, and SOPs, accessible to colleagues through shared folders.
* Follow SAP Next procedures and use defined maintenance data generated from equipment and business understanding to justify capital expenditure.
* Plan, organize, direct, and control maintenance project activities to meet site objectives and provide technical support to the maintenance group.
* Develop a scientific risk-based approach to identifying key critical spares for plant and equipment and ensure their availability.
* Manage purchase orders for equipment and spares, as well as other administrative tasks related to functional work.
* Setup SLAs as needed, resolve unplanned works, and record resolution, resource hours, and costs via SAP Work Order.
* Work with the Planner to set up optimized PM and calibration frequencies.
* Present technical data and lead tours for internal and external audit groups and customer visits.
* Manage on-site contractors, prepare work permits, review risk assessments and method statements, and maintain comprehensive maintenance documentation.
* Evaluate and improve GMP and SOP compliance during diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and electronic plant systems.
* Lead shutdown activities, plan execution, and lessons learned.
* Travel to support project FATs, development work, or training as needed.
* Report equipment and process performance using OEE tools to identify and address losses efficiently.
* Set up equipment-associated spares, PMs, and calibrations in SAP.
* Manage discretionary spend and capital budgets to avoid overspends.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives through ongoing assessment of equipment issues and reliability.


Requirements:

* Minimum 8+ years of experience in an Engineering/Maintenance Leadership role, preferably in the Life Science, Medical Device, and/or Pharmaceutical Industry.
* Engineering Degree (Minimum Level 7, Level 8 preferred) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or recognized equivalent.
* Experience or Qualification in Reliability Engineering is an advantage.
* Trades Qualified is an advantage.
* High level of energy, positivity, and enthusiasm, along with the ability to motivate others.
* Demonstrated high-performance history, proven ability to execute and get results.
* Excellent leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
* Strong project management experience.
* Able to influence within a matrix organization with direct and indirect authority.
* Able to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
* Experience with planning and executing change within a high-work-paced environment.
* Keen ability to teach and coach.
* Preferable experience with SAP Next/PM system.
* Preferable experience with Calibration System.
* Previous experience within an ATEX environment is an advantage.
* Experience with Planned Preventative and Proactive Maintenance approaches.
* Excellent awareness and experience in relation to Quality and Environmental Health and Safety.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Lead a high-performing technical group.
* Keen to learn and take responsibility.
* Analytical with experience in Lean Six Sigma Methodologies.
* Familiar with GMP requirements within a regulated industry.
* Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Self-motivated.
* Strong organizational, time management, and planning ability.
* Computer Literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
* Methodical Work Approach.
