Technical Trainer: Moulding
As a Technical Trainer: Moulding, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing technical training content and plans for technicians. This includes creating procedures and competency-based assessments to measure the effectiveness of training.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and/or customizing training materials targeted at specific trainee groups.
* Delivering on-the-job training to technicians across all shifts as required.
* Maintaining technical competence and cross-training as required.
* Planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating training and related learning support programs.
* Driving and applying the use of Lean Six Sigma tools in your daily role.
* Developing and delivering induction material as part of the onboarding process for new moulding technical employees.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training records.
* Tracking and preparing reports to ensure compliance and cross-training targets are achieved.
You will also be responsible for preparing and presenting safety technical training programs that support company safety and quality initiatives. Additionally, you will ensure ongoing compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all practices and processes.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* At least 5 years' experience in injection moulding, which is highly desirable.
* A Level 7/8 qualification in Engineering or a Trades Qualification, which is highly desirable.
* Strong technical knowledge and manufacturing experience.
* Healthcare experience and knowledge of cGMP standards and related training requirements, which is highly desirable.
You will need to possess excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as excellent attention to detail and audit-readiness at all times. Advanced Microsoft application skills are essential, and you will be required to communicate effectively with other team members, visitors, and customers.
This role requires a results-oriented individual who can drive recommendations on training solutions and identify training, learning, and development needs for employees.
