Senior Financial Accountant (PLC)

Armont Recruitment are working with a well-established PLC based in Dublin who are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team. This role offers strong exposure across financial reporting, compliance and people management within a structured, supportive and high calibre environment.
The position will suit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of 2+ years' post-qualification experience, ideally Big 4 trained and experienced in a multinational or PLC environment.
The Role
* Lead and support a small team of part and newly qualified accountants.
* Oversee preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements.
* Complete P&L and balance sheet reviews with supporting analysis.
* Manage reconciliations and reporting across multiple entities and currencies.
* Liaise with internal teams and external auditors.
* Support month-end, quarter-end and audit processes.
* Assist in process improvements and finance projects.
The Candidate
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years' PQE
* Ideally Big 4 trained with strong technical accounting knowledge
* Experience working in a multinational environment
* Exposure to US GAAP and/or SOX an advantage
* Strong Excel skills; SAP experience is advantageous
