Do you want to learn more?A snapshot of your key responsibilities:Engage with stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers and vendors, to prioritise business goals, information needs and requirements in order to select, architect and deliver the best solutions, technology and value to the organisation.Designing/architecting new application platforms across software and applications environment, whilst being cognisant of interdependencies in the environment.Interpreting project and user requirements through formal and informal meetings, documentation reviews and communicating with stakeholders and management to evaluate all options to identify potential solutions to be architected.Providing clear architectural documentation, schematics, project workflows and roadmaps for the business.Participation in the development/migration projects of new and existing platforms and systems, e.g. case management solutions from Lotus Notes to PowerApps.Determining operational objectives by evaluating business functions, information gathering and evaluating output requirements and formats.Ensuring architected systems are delivered within the legal, functional and technical capability of the operational infrastructure.Ensuring that architected solutions meet the highest levels of security compliance and are within the operational boundaries set by the organisation at the outset of development and architecture processes.Provide technical oversight on projects.Collaborating closely with the Infrastructure, Support and Engineering teams to ensure that architected solutions are fully interoperable and compatible with existing and to-be-introduced technologies.Providing Subject Matter Expertise on Microsoft technologies including: PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerApps or equivalent, ensuring the best solutions are adopted and implemented to meet objectives and technical requirements.Assisting in the resolution of technical problems using Root Cause Analysis, utilising Subject Matter Expertise across the organisation or vendors/suppliers.Producing clear and understandable technical documentation to assist in understanding and the capabilities of architected solutions.Requirements:7 years' experience in Applications Architecture and Development; and must have developed complex digital cloud solutions within the last two years.Must hold a Recognised Application development certification, a degree in a Technology / IT discipline, or relevant qualifications at NFQ 7 level.Experience leading the architecture, design and development of Microsoft Application platforms and frameworks, from the project initiation phase and throughout the Agile Software Development Lifecycle to support business transformation and technological change.Experience developing applications and platforms in technologies, such as MS Power Platform, SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent CRM custom configuration solutions.Experience in development technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, JQuery, JavaScript, .Net, Angular, React and RESTful Web Services.Can communicate clearly and effectively to stakeholders both technical and non-technical, at different levels, including senior management.Opportunity type:Initial 12-month contract, Hybrid in DublinStart date:Mid-March 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter
