Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting automation solutions for clients in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and provide for the development of all DCS, PLCs and SCADA systems to industry standards.
* Ensure the design, development, maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems on site is completed in a compliant manner as per GAMP5 and EU GMP Annex 11.
* Perform day-to-day automation incident triage & resolution, user access requests, batch record comment requests, automation preventative maintenance, periodic reviews for automation training, CAPA automation child actions, IRs automation cross-functional collaboration, and knowledge base for automation systems.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for leadership and teamwork skills, working well in a collaborative environment.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with increased levels of responsibility.
* Good knowledge of GAMP lifecycle and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical sector.
* Experience with Honeywell BMS.
* Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
* Leadership abilities, works well in a team environment.
* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field.
You should have hands-on experience with Honeywell, specifically in GMP environments, and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of automation principles and practices.
