Job Description:
The Maintenance Manager oversees the upkeep and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, plant, and property to ensure efficient operation and maximum production output. Reporting to the Site Operation Manager, this key member of the site team is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all repair and installation activities.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure site manufacturing equipment performance meets or exceeds KPIs.
2. Provide strategies to support technician training and ongoing skills enhancement.
3. Plan and execute preventative maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to scheduled plans.
4. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects focused on equipment performance and best practices.
5. Ensure all maintenance work performed on site meets Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
6. Drive the Maintenance and Reliability initiative, focusing on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
This role requires a strong, hands-on understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment, including refrigeration, conveyors, and packaging systems. Previous experience in managing and leading maintenance teams, ideally in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment, is highly desirable. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as good verbal and written communication skills, are essential.
Able to respond effectively under pressure and meet deadlines, the successful candidate will possess high attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility, and adaptability. Proven working experience in maintenance and project management, with strong technical ability and attention to detail, is required.
