Senior Practice Accountant Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Practice Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, auditing, insolvency, tax, and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports for clients.
* Provide strategic financial advice to support business decision-making.
* Develop budgeting and forecasting models to aid client financial planning.
Auditing:
* Lead and manage audit engagements for a variety of clients.
* Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
* Identify and address areas of risk and provide recommendations for improvements.
Insolvency:
* Manage insolvency cases including members voluntary liquidations, creditors voluntary liquidations and strike offs.
* Liaise with creditors, debtors, and legal representatives.
* Develop and implement strategies for asset recovery and distribution.
Tax and Tax Compliance:
* Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
* Provide tax planning advice and identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
Client Relations:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Address client queries and provide timely, accurate advice.
* Conduct client meetings and presentations as needed.
Requirements:
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CPA).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a practice environment.
* Extensive experience in Accounting, Auditing, Insolvency, Tax, and Tax Compliance.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
