A high-performing construction site necessitates a highly skilled Site Engineer to oversee daily activities, ensure technical precision, quality execution and safety compliance. The role involves coordinating with subcontractors and the broader delivery team.

Main Responsibilities
* Site Operations: Oversee and assist in the coordination of site activities, supervise teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to schedule, monitor construction progress and assist with planning adjustments as needed.
* Health & Safety: Collaborate with safety officers and supervisors to ensure a safe working environment, confirm all contractors adhere to required safety documentation and protocols, support daily briefings to help manage on-site risks between multiple trades, maintain cleanliness and organisation on site, log and report any incidents, near-misses or safety concerns in line with procedures, develop or support creation of method statements and risk assessments, contribute to a safety-first culture aligned with zero-incident objectives.
* Technical & Quality Duties: Perform accurate site measurements and layouts using surveying equipment, ensure construction outputs meet required specifications and are delivered snag-free, support project information flow, making sure site personnel and subcontractors are working from up-to-date plans, help resolve technical challenges and interface issues as they arise, assist subcontractors using academic knowledge and problem-solving skills, confirm works are delivered in line with drawings and quality benchmarks, maintain inspection checklists and ensure proper documentation of works completed, track RFIs (Requests for Information) and ensure timely responses and action, oversee submittals process and ensure approvals are obtained where needed.
* Coordination & Communication: Act as key on-site liaison for client representatives, consultants and subcontractors, coordinate with multiple project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and issue resolution, manage site requisitions for plant, equipment and materials, ensure familiarity with client contracts, drawings and specifications, monitor works against agreed schedule and flag risks or delays promptly, contribute to development and review of the construction programme with project leadership, report weekly on plant, labour and material use, ensure all company equipment and tools are maintained and functional, represent the company on site professionally at all times.
