My client has just opened a brand-new yeast production plant near Thurles/Templemore and is turning a dairy by-product into a sustainable, non-GMO feed. Now they're looking for a Production Technician to join their growing team. What You'll Be Doing (full training provided): Materials reception - acceptance and testing of raw materials as well as stock management. Fermentation Runs - Monitor, operate, and document yeast fermentation processes on a daily basis to include vessel preparation / setup, inoculation, control and cleaning Record and summarize data trends on fermentation process operations. Concentration - the concentration of fermented materials which will be undertaken by way centrifuge and you will be required to operate, oversee and clean the centrifuge. Drying & Bagging - overseeing and monitoring drying of the yeast biomass as well as the milling and bagging of the dried yeast powder. Cleaning - utilisation of a CIP skid. Maintenance - undertaking maintenance work as required. Quality management - Follow established processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in operations, quality assurance standards, and production demands are met.
