We have an opportunity for a Small Medium Enterprises (SME) Sales Advisor to join our Waterford MarketPlace team.
The purpose of this role is to grow sales within the SME sector, including online, corporate hampers, gifting, and to drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Drive sales and profit in line with SME budget targets.
* Manage online processes and customer registrations end to end.
* Manage all KPIs associated with the SME channel.
* Identify sales opportunities by working with the Floor Manager & SME Sales Manager to target new customers and grow profitable sales, including re-engaging lapsed customers.
* Complete weekly sales reports using MWP systems for reporting to the SME Sales Manager and branch manager.
* Maintain proactive communication with customers through various channels: mail, digital, face-to-face.
* Ensure wholesale standards (merchandising, product availability, HACCP, H&S) are consistently met.
* Engage with all departments to grow sales and customer satisfaction, forming strong relationships with sales and trading colleagues.
* Work cross-functionally to ensure delivery of excellent service levels.
* Manage online sales activities, including setting up new online customers and managing temporary accounts.
* Drive seasonal opportunities such as hampers and gifting for all occasions.
Experience, Skills, and Education:
* 2-3 years of sales experience, ideally in wholesale or retail.
* Experience or knowledge in wholesale industry or direct retail sales.
* Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
* Fully flexible with working hours.
* Go above and beyond to achieve goals.
* Passionate about food.
* Adaptable and flexible.
* Ability to work cross-functionally.
* Leaving Cert or equivalent qualification.
* Full clean driving license and access to a car, as some travel is required.
