OverviewWe are seeking an experiencedSenior UI/UX Designerto join a growingInformation Systems / Product team. This role focuses on designing intuitive, user-centred software and digital platforms that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.The successful candidate will play a key role across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and research through to high-fidelity design and delivery, working closely with Product, Engineering, and senior stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements-gathering activities to understand user needs, business objectives, and technical constraintsTranslate complex concepts into clear user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designsPartner closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and deliver solutions throughout the product lifecycleFacilitate and evolve product vision through user research, ideation, prototyping, usability testing, and validationDesign experiences optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop, using responsive and mobile-first approachesIdentify UX challenges in both new and existing products and propose thoughtful, evidence-based design solutionsEvaluate existing applications and continuously improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experienceUse analytics, insights, and testing outcomes to inform design decisions and measure impactEnsure all designs meet usability, accessibility (WCAG), and brand standardsCollaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure high-quality implementation and design integrityContribute to the development and evolution of design systems, patterns, and best practicesClearly articulate design rationale and decisions to stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to delivery teamsOperate in line with relevant governance, risk, and compliance frameworksRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in UI/UX or Product Design rolesDemonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end design, from discovery through to implementationPortfolio showcasing user-centred design thinking, problem solving, and real-world impactEducationDegree in Design (e.g. Graphic, Product, Industrial, Architecture) or equivalent professional experienceDesign ExpertiseDeep understanding of user-centred design (UCD) principles and methodologiesProven experience conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and rapid prototypingStrong knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design approachesExperience working within agile, cross-functional product teamsAbility to influence design direction and contribute to product and organisational strategyExcellent facilitation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detailAbility to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable design solutionsExcellent communication skills, both visual and verbalTools & Technical SkillsExpertise with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Figma, FigJam )Experience producing low- and high-fidelity prototypesFamiliarity with design systems and component-based designStrong understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principlesBasic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is beneficial but not essentialDesirable ExperienceExperience designing and maintaining cross-platform design systemsAbility to code or build interactive prototypesExperience with interactive design, motion, or animationBackground designing complex enterprise or platform productsExperience working in regulated or fast-paced environmentsWhat's on OfferOpportunity to work on high-impact, user-focused digital productsCollaborative, inclusive, and design-led cultureStrong emphasis on learning, professional growth, and continuous improvementClose partnership with Product and Engineering teamsFlexible working arrangements supporting wellbeing and productivity
