Senior Technical Advance Consultant @ GCS Recruitment Specialists

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an entry-level Data Center Technicians to join our fast-paced, high-performing team. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for individuals looking to launch their careers in IT infrastructure and cabling with one of the world’s most advanced data environments, working alongside a highly skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with fibre and copper cabling installations.
* Identify and work around network and hardware components (non-configurational)
* Support experienced staff with infrastructure tasks.
* Follow strict security, safety, and operational protocols
* Complete both practical and online training modules
Required Skills
* Basic understanding of IT hardware and cabling
* Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
* Strong written and spoken English
* Proficient in general computer use and Microsoft Office
* Team-oriented with the ability to follow detailed instructions
* Must be eligible to work in Ireland and pass background/security checks
* Previous data -center or structured cabling experience
* Familiarity with copper/fibre testing or network infrastructure basics
