Our organization seeks a Financial Controller to join our Head office in Shannon. This role will work closely with an existing Finance Manager to oversee the Finance Function, promoting effective management and optimization of financial processes. Main Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, providing insightful commentary on performance.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow, ensuring timely bank interactions and VAT and tax filings.
• Oversee the Audit process, implementing robust internal controls and liaising with auditors for statutory compliance (Irish GAAP, IFRS).
• Provide financial analysis to the Board and contribute to strategic planning and investment decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager to oversee AP, AR, and Payroll operations, identifying finance system efficiencies and driving digital or process improvements.
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with excellent communication skills and experience in using finance ERP systems. Group Consolidation experience is highly valued. Key skills include accounting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
