We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Course Maintenance Assistant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the maintenance of our golf course to the highest standards.
About the Role
The Course Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Head Greenkeeper in maintaining the golf course, including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs, raking, weeding, and edging bunkers. The role involves assisting with irrigation, fertilization, and turf care, learning to operate various machinery and equipment safely, monitoring course conditions, and contributing to seasonal projects and renovations.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. You should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and have an interest in golf, sports turf, or general landscaping (desirable but not required).
A positive, flexible attitude and readiness to take on new challenges are essential. Knowledge of the game of golf is also desirable. Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or machinery use is welcome but not essential, as training and ongoing support will be provided.
Desirable Qualifications
A qualification in turf management, horticulture, or a related field is desirable, as well as familiarity with turf machinery or basic mechanical skills. Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and First aid certification are also beneficial. A Full driving license is required.
