Since 1 January 2014 the Company is part ofthe AXA ITALIA insurance group(registered in the Register of Insurance Groups with no. 041).For theDublin Head Office, we are looking for aFinancial Accountant – Temporary PositionIn Finance Department the candidate will report to the Financial Controller.The candidate will be accountable to:Prepare, review and submit Financial Reporting obligations for AXA Group (IFRS), Local reporting (FRS Preparation of financial reporting schedules for submission to Irish & Italian regulatorsPreparation of budgeting and forecasting schedules for submission to groupLead contact with External auditors to successfully complete annual auditAssist in the processes associated with Group and Local Solvency II reporting and filingProduction of MI reports (both periodic and ad-hoc) for parent companyPrepare the documentation appropriate to the Internal Financial Controls processPrepare documents for the reporting of Shareholder assetsAssist in preparation of taxation schedulesMain activities and responsibilities:Completion of reports according to Group timetable including Quarterly Reporting Forecasting and Budgeting.Preparation Preliminary CT filings, CT return etc.Exception free Internal Financial Control ReportException free Solvency II Control ReportUnqualified Audit opinion by External AuditorsAssist in producing timely and accurate monthly reporting schedulesCommunicate and liaise with third partiesMeet reporting targets for Regulatory returnsProjects specified by the Financial Controller / CFOHard skills:Knowledge of IFRS reportingKnowledge of GAAP reportingKnowledge of Irish tax and life insurance legislationUnderstanding of products sold through life assurance marketsKnowledge in Solvency II requirementsExcellent PC Skills (Excel)Soft skills:Excellent written and oral communicationPresentation skillsStrong analytical skillsAbility to learn quicklyBe comfortable working in a relatively small team / companyPositive, can-do attitude
