About the Company
We're hiring an experienced Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Team Leader to oversee electrical maintenance and control systems across major Dublin generation stations. You'll play a key role in ensuring plant reliability, safety, and performance — supporting Ireland's transition to a low-carbon future.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, technical excellence and problem-solving across complex electrical and control systems.
Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate and develop a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation team.
* Plan, schedule and coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance across HV/MV/LV systems, control networks, and instrumentation equipment.
* Supervise contractors and manage key component procurement.
* Troubleshoot, test and repair electrical systems to maintain uptime and compliance.
Qualifications
* 5+ years' experience in power generation, utilities, or heavy industrial environments.
* Recognised Electrical Trade Qualification (FÁS / SOLAS) or equivalent.
Required Skills
* Strong understanding of HV/MV/LV electrical systems, control and instrumentation equipment.
* Proven track record in electrical fault finding and maintenance planning.
* Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
* Strong safety focus and flexibility for occasional callouts or shift work.
* Full Category B Driving Licence.

Pay range and compensation package
Competitive salary:
€57,750–€67,950
