Social Care Worker – Nationwide Disability Services

We offer comprehensive care and support to vulnerable adults and children, prioritizing their practical, physical, and emotional needs. As a key worker, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to residents, including daily living skills, education, and social activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred care and support to residents with intellectual disabilities/ABI/Autism.
- Act as a key worker for named residents where appropriate.
- Support residents with daily plans and individual goals.
- Assist with daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Be part of the on-floor duty team and contribute to shift coordination and staff supervision.
Requirements:
- Hold a qualification at Level 7 or above, meeting CORU registration criteria for Social Care Workers.
- Possess knowledge of quality assurance practices and their application to service provision.
- Have experience working in residential, respite, or day services with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Knowledge of Person Centred Planning and National Disability Standards (HIQA).
