Mechanical and Electrical Surveyor Role

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing all costs and value for the project (or project elements) for which we are responsible.
Your Responsibilities:
* Budgeting, reporting, and profit planning.
* Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
* Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts.
* Process payment certificates and ensure timely payments per agreed terms.
* Identify potential commercial risks and escalate promptly to Senior Management.
* Collaborate closely with the Planning Engineer to ensure accurate progress reporting.
* Costing and agreeing daily work changes, including subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks, and site change orders.
Requirements:
* 3rd-level qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quantity surveying/Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
* Proficient in Excel.
* Detailed knowledge of commercial management and Quantity Surveyor role within construction.
* Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications.
* Strong business acumen and ability to work on own initiative.
Benefits:
You will be paid at a competitive hourly rate between €30 to €40 per hour. You will be paid for any overtime hours worked. This comes out to approximately 60k to 80k when converted to an annual salary.
