This is a field-based role responsible for managing and growing existing client relationships while ensuring the successful delivery of print projects from concept through to completion. The role also contributes to business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities within both existing and prospective clients.
The position involves regular client visits and face-to-face engagement, combined with time in the office to coordinate internal processes, prepare proposals, and manage project workflows. The successful candidate will act as a key link between clients and internal teams, delivering high-quality print solutions and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular on-site visits
Dealing/developing ISO 9001-2015 clients
Manage client briefs and translate requirements into clear production specifications
Oversee the full lifecycle of print projects from brief to delivery
Coordinate with prepress, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution
Prepare accurate quotes, cost estimates, and project timelines
Ensure quality control and adherence to client expectations
Proactively identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to support both account growth and new business development
Assist in preparing proposals, tenders, and tailored print solutions
Maintain awareness of industry trends, technologies, and competitor activity
Resolve client issues efficiently and professionally
Maintain accurate records of projects, communications, and account activity
Strong knowledge of print processes (offset, digital, large format, finishing, branded merchandise)
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Strong organisational and project management ability
Commercial awareness with pricing and margin management
Ability to balance client service with revenue growth
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Problem-solving mindset with high attention to detail
Confident presentation and interpersonal skills
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in the print industry or a related production environment
Proven track record in account management or client-facing roles
Exposure to business development or sales activities is advantageous
Strong understanding of print specifications, materials, and workflows
Familiarity with CRM and estimating systems
Field-based role with regular travel to client sites
Combination of on-site client engagement and office-based coordination
