This role is based in a five-story hospitality venue located in the heart of Dublin. Operating as a day-to-day hospitality destination, the venue is focused on delivering a premium fine dining experience. With a capacity of 80-100 guests, it offers an intimate setting supported by a small, dedicated team. We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in fine dining environments who thrives in a dynamic, high-standard hospitality setting. While there is no on-site parking, the venue benefits from excellent public transport links, making it easily accessible. Key Responsibilities:Manage financial aspects of catering and facilities operations within agreed guidelines.Ensure premises are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety.Control expenditure related to wages, overtime, absence, bonuses, and other employee costs.Represent Sodexo at client meetings and attend relevant training courses and conferences.Ensure compliance with service level agreements and key performance indicators.Recruit, manage, induct, train, motivate, and appraise staff to promote good employee relations.Maintain and build excellent client/customer relationships.Manage meeting rooms, set-ups, and logistics for internal and external client events.Deliver exceptional time management skills, planning, multi-tasking, and prioritizing work.Act as the main point of contact for internal/external queries efficiently.Ensure effective communication with line manager, team, customer, and client organization.Work closely with suppliers and external parties.Comply with all company and client policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.Escalate potential and actual service issues appropriately and timely.Assist with hospitality food service delivery to meeting rooms when required.Manage monthly client billing in accordance with company procedures.Key Outputs:Achieve financial targets within a framework of absolute financial control.Efficient financial management of client business within agreed budgets.Deliver budgeted profit and turnover for accounts.Actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are monitored, measured, and managed.Ensure compliance with company purchasing policy.Manage recruitment and development of unit personnel.Person Specification:2-3 years of leadership and supervisory experience.Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.Good financial acumen and front-of-house skills.HND or equivalent; relevant vocational qualifications are an advantage.Competencies:Growth, Client & Customer Satisfaction / Quality of Services providedLeadership & People ManagementRigorous management of resultsInnovation and ChangeCommercial AwarenessHR Service DeliveryEmployee EngagementLearning & Development A little more about Sodexo:At Sodexo, our purpose is to create a better every day for everyone to build a better life for all.
