General Maintenance Operative, Dublin
Location: Dublin
Contract: Full Time Permanent
The Purpose of this role is to provide a multi disciplined general maintenance service as part of Focus Ireland's Dublin Housing First Team to deliver a quality service to our tenants.

What you will do:
Work within Focus Ireland's overall aims and objectives.
Carry out a range of maintenance tasks (e.g. electrical, plumbing, carpentry, cleaning, painting, grounds upkeep).
Follow and deliver maintenance schedules, including fire checks and cleaning routines.
Oversee external contractors performing maintenance work.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and housing officers.
Use initiative on-site, ensuring safe work practices for self and others.
Maintain tools safely and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Use own vehicle for scheduled repairs and maintenance as needed.
Attend supervision and training, and report any Health & Safety concerns.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
What you will need:
Extensive, provable, multi trade building/maintenance experience
Ability to work on own initiative both alone and as a member of a team
Full, clean driving license
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Flexible and innovative approach
Commitment to providing the highest quality service
Willing and able to travel within the Leinster area
On-site safety awareness and a knowledge of relevant current legislation along with the Associations Health and Safety Policy
A relevant trade qualification (Desirable)
Proven relevant experience of carrying out maintenance within the social housing or private residential sector (Desirable)
