The Bishop’s Palace in Cathedral Square opened as a museum in June 2011, displaying the treasures of Georgian and Victorian Waterford.
Tasks include welcoming visitors to the museum, invigilating the collection of objects and artefacts, learning a bit about the collection - picking out a couple of your favourite objects to explain to visitors, providing guided tours on occasion (this is completely optional, and is in no way required), and other curatorial duties as required.
We have opportunities in the morning or afternoon, from Monday to Sunday.

What's Required
Some skills required for this role include enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with visitors, working with an amazing existing team at the museum, have a passion for history and the community, the ability to communicate effectively, and be able to enjoy telling and listening to a good story.
