We are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager to join our teams in our two Shops in Galway City (a second shop opening soon).
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a retail environment that’s about more than just sales. Our 28 Charity Shops are central to our mission: raising funds for vital disability services, promoting sustainable fashion, reuse, and supporting a circular economy.
Contract Type: Full-time
Contract Hours: 40 hours
Salary Scale: €28,670 + 1% Profit Share pro-rata and uncapped Sales Bonus.
Overview of the Post:
As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Shop Manager in day-to-day operations, motivate teams, and ensure shops are welcoming spaces for customers and volunteers. You’ll also promote sustainable living and Enable Ireland’s values within the community. You will champion reuse, help meet financial targets, and keep sustainability and style at the core of the shop.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing and developing the shop according to work plans and financial targets
* Train, supervise, and manage shop staff, both paid and voluntary
* Ensure the shop’s appearance aligns with brand standards internally and externally
