Our client, a Biologics company in Sligo, is looking to hire Packaging Operators to join their team in Sligo on an initial short-term contract. The role involves operating and maintaining packaging equipment, performing quality checks, completing batch documentation, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities of a Packaging Operator (Full job description available on request):
1. Operate, set up, clean, and maintain packaging equipment.
2. Perform in-process checks, labelling, encoding, and product packaging.
3. Accurately complete and reconcile batch records.
4. Support investigations of deviations and follow GMP guidelines.
5. Maintain housekeeping, contamination control, and waste transfer.
6. Escalate equipment issues and complete tasks flexibly and efficiently.
Ideal background:
7. Leaving Certificate (or equivalent).
8. Proficient in English (written and spoken).
9. Strong organisational and communication skills.
10. Desirable: Experience in GMP and/or cleanroom environments.
11. Good communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
13. Flexibility with shifts, overtime, and weekends.
Note: This role involves shift work and may involve weekend work. Ideal candidates will be available for both.
