Recruitment Consultant with TechHeads, operating in the Technology sector.

TechHeads is working with a well established indigenous organisation as they look to add to their growing data team with a talented Data Engineer. You will be joining a secure and forward thinking organisation that will provide you with excellent job security and growth potential.
As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will range from gathering requirements and building models to deployment and stakeholder engagement. Following the establishment of a new Data Hub within the organisation, you will have the opportunity to work on greenfield data projects with full ownership over the entire lifecycle.
You will work with modern tools such as, Power BI, DAX, Azure and more as you create interactive reports that will be used throughout the business. This role will also offer exposure to cutting edge technologies such as Power Platforms such as Power Automate, allowing you to future proof your career by building expertise with rapidly growing and highly strategic technology.
This role allows for hybrid working with 2 days onsite in Dublin and 3 days working remotely, allowing you to have freedom and flexibility in how you work.

Required:
* 2+ years experience developing interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
* 2+ years experience working SQL.
* Experience working with DAX for creating measures, calculated columns, and complex business logic.
* Experience with ETL or any Data Engineering related activities.
* Experience implementing security and RLS in Power BI and Azure.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
