Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Catering Engineer to join our service team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of commercial catering equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for our customers.
Role & responsibilities:
Reactive and preventative maintenance commercial catering equipment
Participate in on-call rota every 6th weekend only
Warranty checks and repairs
Installation of new commercial catering equipment when required
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, service, and repair commercial catering equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.
Respond to service calls promptly and professionally.
Complete job sheets and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain good communication with customers and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in the catering or engineering industry is preferred.
Gas experience is desirable – training will be provided if required.
Electrical/mechanical fault-finding skills an advantage.
Full, clean driving licence.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
