About the jobIn this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the store, responsible for the opening of the store 5 mornings a week, overseeing employees, intake of orders and packing in a timely manner. Maintaining stock levels and the quality of products and services.Main Duties include:Open up the store 5 days per week, getting a jump start on the day and taking in orders from Musgraves, bread-men and more suppliers.Manage and motivate your team, ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively and to provide our customers with the very best customer service experience at all times.Be approachable and a role model who leads by example and encourages teamwork and a positive attitude in the workplace.Set the standard for other employees in relation to rotation, merchandising and facing off.Monitoring stock and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.Ensure the smooth operation of the morning business, working with staff to maximise sales.Monitor shop security, keeping an eye out for theft, etc.About You2 years retail experience is essential. Our customers are made up of locals and as such we have ties to the community, so strong & friendly communication skills are needed. We want someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, provide fresh ideas and help us move forward.Other must-haves2 years retail experience essentialAbility to commute to our locationFlexibility with working hours & weekends.
