Description
The Information Security Business Partner Lead (BPL) EMEIA will serve as the dedicated in-region information security representative for Apple Distribution International while serving broader EMEIA regional needs. Based in Cork, Ireland, this EU-based role ensures AIS delivers effective security enablement to one of Apple's most complex and regulated operational regions.
You will represent AIS within EMEIA, building deep knowledge of European regulatory frameworks and developing the trusted relationships necessary to serve as an effective bridge between security and our business partners. Your presence in Cork ensures EMEIA teams have consistent in-region AIS engagement. You will work as part of the Apple Information Security Engagement team, delivering the strategies and services of our organization with dedicated regional focus.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary AIS liaison for ADI, developing deep understanding of regulatory obligations, governance requirements, and operational realities
Support ADI Board-level security governance under DORA and related EU regulations
Partner with the AIS ADI Security lead and AIS Governance for comprehensive regulatory compliance coverage
Serve as a regional AIS point of contact for Apple's EU and EMEIA-based teams
Build strategic partnerships across Cork and EMEIA-based business teams
Provide in-region security support for EMEIA-based teams
Translate EMEIA business requirements into AIS service improvements
Represent AIS in regional executive meetings and provide relevant security expertise
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in navigating complex distributed operations involving multiple legal entities, security teams, regulatory frameworks, and operational environments.
Strong knowledge of EU compliance frameworks including GDPR, with familiarity with DORA and CRA
Experience supporting Board-level security governance and executive stakeholder management
Strong communication skills adaptable for regulatory bodies, business leadership, and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience in Information Security or related field
Professional certifications in European compliance and/or information security (CISSP, CISM)
Direct experience with DORA implementation or financial services security
Previous regional security roles supporting complex international operations
Knowledge of Apple business operations or multinational corporate structures
