Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of our esteemed client, is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Shannon, Co. Clare.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-precision components according to technical specifications. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a strong understanding of CNC machine operation in a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
* Set up CNC machines, including tool selection and fixture setup.
* Interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications.
* Conduct first-off and in-process inspections to ensure tolerances are met.
* Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with company quality standards and health & safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate documentation of programs, machine settings, and changes.
* Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and quality personnel to optimise processes.
* Provide training and guidance to junior machinists and operators.
* Perform routine maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
* Ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 and other relevant quality standards.
* Work to tight tolerances and inspect own work to uphold quality output.

Criteria:
* 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines;
* Strong knowledge of G-code-, M-code, and CNC programming;
* Familiarity with Hypermill Software is desirable;
* Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection equipment (Callipers, Micrometers and CMMs).
