RPS has great opportunities for Resident & Senior Resident & Mechanical Electrical to join our site based teams for roles in the Dublin and Donegal.
About The Role
We are seeking a number of Resident & Senior Resident Engineers Mechanical & Electrical to work on major above and below ground water utility projects, helping to deliver important infrastructure for their customers and to ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract documents (works requirements).
Monitor and report on works being carried out onsite
Monitor the Contractor for compliance with the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
Prepare excellent technical reports and presentations for internal and external use.
Qualifications And Experience
Level 8 degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
7+ years of relevant post graduate experience in engineering including site works supervision and monitoring of safe working practices. Ideally this will include water sector projects. Experience of pipeline treatment plant work will be an advantage.
Hold a clean driving licence
Hold current Safepass, Managing safely in construction and manual handling.

Contractor design review experience beneficial
Team Player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), team working skills and analytical skills
Ability to lead and motivate themselves and others; willingly takes ownership of issues and seeks team participation to achieve best solution.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
Ability to devise new approaches to problems encountered.
