Location: Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland
Responsibilities
Manage a team of production shift line managers and all processes, general efficiency and outputs in your manufacturing area.
Direct and work closely with engineering teams to achieve manufacturing goals.
Manage change and transformation among operating teams in the implementation of Integrated Lean Six Sigma, Autonomous Maintenance and Progressive Maintenance.
Role model values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team in a unionised environment.
Support manufacturing annual operational plans and targets for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability and Engagement; coach Line Leaders and cascade plans to employees.
Maintain healthy, open and collaborative relationships with Trade Union representatives and build good working relationships between management and unions.
Lead governance to review and control operational performance and Continuous Improvement plans, embedding a zero‑loss mindset.
Lead and be accountable for Talent, Capabilities and Engagement for the manufacturing team.
Qualifications
Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in a traditional unionised environment in the CPG industry (ideally in food manufacturing), with experience in TPM, 5S, Lean, Six Sigma tools.
Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team‑based environment. Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building.
Ideally an engineering or food science background with strong financial and business acumen, project management skills and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
