Red Chair Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior Bookkeeper / Graduate Financial Accountant for a leading retail business based in Tralee, County Kerry. The Role
* Take ownership of bank reconciliations using modern accounting systems
* Manage accurate and timely reconciliation of creditor and debtor accounts
* Process invoices, expenses, and financial documentation with a high level of accuracy
* Prepare clear and insightful financial reports to support management decision-making
* Administer payroll in line with company policies and procedures
* Post journals with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Support the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end close activities
* Work collaboratively within a close-knit finance team, contributing strong communication and teamwork skills
The Candidate
* Minimum of 4 years' experience working with computerised accounting systems (experience with Intact is an advantage)
* Qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or a recent graduate / part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent)
* Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills
* Essential experience in payroll processing
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to accuracy
