Structural Engineer North Dublin €55-65k Required for leading supplier of Precast elements to the construction industry.
Responsibilities Design of architectural precast concrete façade systems and supporting fixings, on flagship projects in sectors including commercial, residential, leisure, and healthcare.Working with client design teams to develop bespoke 'whole' façade solutions to suit architectural, structural, and site constraints.Liaising with the in-house Production and Installation Teams to ensure optimum design for manufacture, transportation, and erection on site.Working on both Concept and Detail Designs for each project.Preparation of calculations and reviewing drawings for production.Reporting to a Senior Structural Engineer and working with a very experienced team of designers.May require some occasional travel between Ireland and the UK for meetings and site inspections.Opportunity to develop your engineering design and project management skills on a variety of building types in Ireland and the UK.Competitive salary packages with bonus opportunities, working from home flexibility, and an excellent working environment for the aspiring and ambitious engineering professional.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Structural EngineeringMinimum 4 years' experience with specific experience in reinforced concrete and steel design.Ambition to become a Chartered Engineer (in-house mentorship and training will be provided)Ability to work on own initiative in a busy environment but with support and mentorship from the rest of the engineering team.Design of Concrete and steel Structures to Eurocodes.Knowledge of Building Regulations.Experience in the use of Design Software, including Structural Engineering Design Packages, AutoCAD, Tekla, Revit, Sketch Up, and Excel.REQUIREMENTS Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or related discipline.
