PACC, based in Wicklow Town, is a small practice with a varied portfolio of projects and is seeking an Architectural Technologist to assist the Principal Architect on a part-time basis. Applicants must have required knowledge of Irish regulatory and construction environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is keen to develop their career within the construction industry. Applicants must submit a CV and portfolio demonstrating relevant experience. Due to the nature of the position, hybrid or remote working is not available.
The role involves preparing drawings, specifications, and documentation at all stages through to on-site construction. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong technical detailing skills, sound construction knowledge, and a thorough working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations. A clear understanding of statutory consent processes in Ireland, including Planning applications and the (BCAR) process, is essential.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively while maintaining high standards of performance. They must be capable of self-management and able to work proactively. Strong technical competency in AutoCAD 2D, SketchUp, V-Ray, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office is essential.
