AQMetrics is looking for an experienced Legal and Compliance Analyst to work in our Operations team, supporting our customers using the AQMetrics platform for their global compliance obligations. We are a team that draws on our regulatory, fund and data automation knowledge and experience to help our customers achieve compliance with the innovative AQMetrics platform.

What you will do:
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to ensure legal and compliance requirements are accurately implemented and tested across product features.
* Translate regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II) into actionable product requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
* Participate in QA planning and execution by reviewing test strategies, validating edge cases, and ensuring compliance-related functionality is thoroughly tested.
* Analyze contracts, NDAs, and client agreements to ensure product offerings align with legal obligations and risk appetite.
* Identify and assess compliance risks across product lines, proposing mitigation strategies that balance innovation and regulatory integrity.
* Develop and maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and training materials to promote compliance awareness across product and QA teams.
* Act as a liaison between regulatory bodies, external counsel, and internal stakeholders during audits, product reviews, and legal inquiries.
* Monitor evolving laws and regulations, advising on their impact to current and future product development.
* Support RFPs, DDQs, and client onboarding processes by providing product-specific legal and compliance insights.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or related field.
* 2–3 years of experience in legal, compliance, or product analysis roles—ideally within FinTech, RegTech, or SaaS.
* Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, MiFID II) and how they apply to digital products.
* Experience collaborating with QA teams and contributing to test planning, validation, and defect triage.
* Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to bridge legal concepts and technical execution.
* Experience working with SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity compliance.
* Familiarity with agile product development and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
