'Strategic Research Support Specialist'
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Strategic Research Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-level research management support to ongoing research projects in the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Working with Principal Investigators to develop national and international grant applications
* Timely management of existing grants, including budget management and preparation of annual reports
* Liaising with funding bodies to prepare new grant applications
* Building capacity within the faculty in grant management, including training administrative staff and postdoctoral researchers
You will be an effective communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a strong project management component and excellent interpersonal skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Masters level healthcare, management or financial qualification
* Experience of managing research project grant applications and budgets
