Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Deputy Person in Charge to lead our social care initiatives. This role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services, ensuring compliance with TUSLA regulations, and supporting our team in providing exceptional care to clients while supporting the Person in Charge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage social care programs that meet community needs.
* Lead, train, and support a team of social care professionals.
* Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for clients.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs and services.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
* Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
* Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
* Stay informed about industry trends and advocate for best practices in social care.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in social care at level 7 or above or be registered with CORU under the Social Care Workers division
* Proven experience of a minimum of 1 years as a team leader within the residential settings
* Strong knowledge of social care policies, procedures, and TUSLA legislation.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
* Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping others.
* Proficiency in computer usage, teams, excel, reports generation, staff rota, etc
