About The Role
The Management Accountant will play a central role in strengthening financial insight, performance reporting, and support decision making in Circle VHA.
The purpose of the role will be to deliver high-quality financial information and financial reporting for internal and external purposes.

The Management Accountant will be a key enabler of data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, and segmental reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly income expenditure variance analysis
Assist with month-end process including journals, accruals, and prepayments
Support the Financial Controller in maintaining robust financial controls and reporting integrity
Support the preparation of annual budgets
Monitor financial performance against budget and forecasts
Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
Support the finance department in meeting its reporting requirements by providing relevant financial information
Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
Contribute to continuous improvement of finance systems (e.g. MRI / ERP platforms)
Support ad-hoc analysis relating to business performance or cost optimisation
Provide cover for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as required
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and finance projects as they arise
Person Specification
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Min 3–5 years post-qualification experience in management accounting
Experience in housing, property, infrastructure, or regulated sectors desirable
Strong MS Office, particularly Excel skills
Experience with finance systems (e.g., MRI, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
Ability to develop dashboards and data visualisation tools skills highly desirable (e.g. Power BI)
Use and experience in AI to support reporting desirable
