Job Description
We seek an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us seize this market opportunity and meet significant revenue targets. MuleSoft is the fastest-growing business unit within Salesforce, and Africa is one of its fastest-growing markets globally.
This role is strategic, not just tactical. You will be a key member of a close-knit, cross-functional team responsible for owning and executing the go-to-market strategy in your territory and leading the sales cycle. We aim to change how our customers build software and do business. You will sell strategic outcomes through long-term, high-growth engagements.
You will be challenged to grow personally and professionally. Many leaders in our Field organization have advanced through internal promotions, and you will be supported by some of the smartest people in the world.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
* Recent, proven success in leading complex, high-value sales to IT and business leaders
* A track record of exceeding quotas in software sales roles
* Experience closing large deals, $200K+
* Excitement for hunting new territory and building your business from scratch
* Strong focus on customer success with a consultative, outcome-based sales approach
* Honest and direct communication, prioritizing others’ best interests (radical candor)
* Collaborative team player with a company-first mindset—supporting others to achieve results
