Prosper Fingal is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our Residential Service in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities and contribute to their overall health and well-being.
To apply for this post, applicants must have a third level qualification in Nursing and evidence of nursing Pin.
It is necessary to have at least one year of experience working in disability services.
This position also require the possession of a valid full manual driver's licence.

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Primarily, Nurses support the individuals supported by Prosper Fingal, hereafter referred to as "the individual/s" to realise their goals and achieve their identified priorities, so that individuals can make their own life choices.In support of this, Nurses provide personal, educational and health-related inputs, empower individuals to advocate for themselves or, where required, advocate on the person's behalf and promote community participation and inclusion for the individual.
Nurses in Prosper Fingal are not the primary care practitioners for individuals.Rather their role is to assist individuals to deal with any medical / health issues which may arise in consultation with the primary care team, e.g.
the GP, Public Health Nurse, hospital etc.Nurses are expected to promote and impart the skills needed for individuals to be as independent and community focused as possible.
